About the western part of the Middle Tier

The western part of the Middle Tier lies between Big Elk Campground and the Coast between Newport and Ona Beach, and includes a route that extends as far south as Waldport. This area includes the western half of the Corvallis to the Sea (C2C) Trail.

Several one-way bicycle routes are presented, including the route to Ona Beach (which is the primary C2C bicycle route) and three routes to Newport, as well as the way to get to Waldport. In addition, there are several loop routes, including ones to Newport and Toledo.

The C2C Trail Partnership describes four bicycle routes from Big Elk Campground to the Coast on their website. Here is a link to their map of these routes. Each of these routes are also described here on my website.
