Travel Management Areas
About Travel Management Areas
Travel Management Areas (TMA) are collaborative efforts between public and private landowners that maintain public hunting access on private and surrounding public land. Travel Management Area information and maps are useful for other recreational users.
The private entities are typically large timber companies, and the public entities include the US Forest Service (USFS), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), the Oregon State Police, and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW).
