Upper Marys River Area

About the Upper Marys River Area

This area is within a 20 to 30 minute drive to the northwest of Corvallis. The Kings Valley Highway (223) forms the eastern boundary. On the west side are the settlements of Burnt Woods and Summit, Fort. Hoskins is on the northern boundary and Starker Forests Tum Tum Tree Farm is at the southern edge. The Marys River, which flows through this area, begins in the Coast Range to the north of Summit and meanders in a generally southeastern direction as it winds its way to its confluence with the Willamette River near downtown Corvallis. Other Starker Forests tree farms include Burnt Woods, Eisele Summit, and Upper Marys River.
