This website is a guide to backroad bicycling in the mid-Willamette Valley and the adjacent Coast Range. The primary area of interest is west of the Willamette River from Salem to Eugene and east of the Pacific Ocean between Lincoln City and Florence. The author of this website lives in Corvallis, and this guide is written from that perspective.
Site Organization
The primary area of interest is divided into three geographic "tiers" between the Willamette River and coastal locations:
Northern tier: Lincoln City to Newport
Middle tier: Newport to Waldport
Southern tier: Waldport to Florence
